About Steven V. Bhatt

Dr. Steven Bhatt's journey is a profound testament to his lifelong commitment to service, education, and community. With a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, a Masters of Education in School Counseling from Liberty University, and a post-graduate endorsement in School Leadership from Longwood University, Dr. Bhatt has established himself as a leader in both education and public service.

Dr. Bhatt has dedicated over 20 years to being a foster parent and is an adoptive father to one son, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to nurturing and providing stability to children in need. His passion for helping others extends beyond the home and into his 33-year career as a firefighter/paramedic, serving both professionally and as a volunteer. His courage and dedication earned him the prestigious Valor Award from the Prince George Rotary in 2006.

As a licensed realtor in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Dr. Bhatt applies the same integrity and compassion to helping individuals and families find their ideal homes. His real estate work is complemented by his service as a life member of the Manchester Volunteer Rescue Squad and a former instructor in the VCU paramedic program, where he played a crucial role in training the next generation of emergency responders.

In addition to his expertise in education and emergency services, Dr. Bhatt is trained as a firefighter through the Virginia Department of Fire Programs and holds certifications in Hazardous Material Operations. A certified Nationally Registered Paramedic, he also serves as a paramedic and Education Coordinator in Virginia, holding a wide range of licenses from the Virginia Department of Education, including a Postgraduate Professional License (Admin & Supervision PreK-12), a Pupil Personnel Services License (School Counselor PreK-12), and a Technical Professional License (Health & Medical Sciences, Emergency Medical Technician).

Dr. Bhatt's personal interests further showcase his commitment to lifelong learning and adventure. He is a skilled scuba diver, holding the ranks of Master Scuba Diver, Divemaster, and Assistant Instructor, all through PADI. In addition, he is a licensed General Class amateur radio operator and holds a GMRS license through the FCC.

Currently serving full-time as the Director of School Counseling at N.B. Clements Junior High School, Dr. Bhatt continues to advocate for the academic, social, and emotional well-being of his students. His leadership, both in the classroom and in his community, has left an indelible impact on those around him. Through his diverse roles in education, emergency medical services, and real estate, Dr. Bhatt exemplifies a life lived in service to others, embodying the values of compassion, leadership, and excellence.
